Explore Christianity with Activity Ark (A Review)

As you probably already know, I love using hands-on activities to teach my kids about the Bible. I am always searching for creative ways for kids to explore the stories and concepts of Christianity, so I was pretty excited when I came across Activity Ark.

I was not financially compensated for this post, however I received a sample for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

What is Activity Ark?

Activity Ark is a company that creates faith-based boxes of hands-on activities to help kids grow in their faith. Each box has a theme and activities designed for kids ages 4-9. I have a 5 and a 6 year old so I knew they would have a blast exploring one of these boxes.

You can read more about what comes in each box and the subscription options at activityark.com>>

The Box

When you’re a kid there isn’t much more exciting than getting your own mail. I didn’t tell my kids this box was coming so they were very surprised when it arrived. As they opened the box I was pretty impressed with how packed it was.

I really appreciated the variety of activities included within the box. Each of my kids found something they enjoyed, including my 3 year old. Naturally they all wanted to make the galaxy jar, so we had a lot of fun putting that together as a family. The project guide included step-by-step instructions, pictures, and discussion questions, which made it simple and easy to do with our kids.

The creators of the Activity Ark box did a great job creating activities that connect to an overall theme. The activities include discussion questions that help connect the hands-on activities to the stories and concepts. As my kids worked through the box they got into some deep discussions about the story of creation.

If you’re looking for a way to engage your children with the stories of the Bible, Activity Ark is a great option.

Activity Ark also has a blog! You can find some of our own activities there, so definitely check it out for kids activity ideas.
