I-Spy Outdoor Activity

One of my favorite things about living in Colorado is the weather. We can play outside almost every day of the year. With gorgeous scenery and National Parks at our fingertips, I live in the perfect place to teach our kids about the beautiful world God has created.

I designed the simple I spy activity to help my littlest one connect the Bible story of Creation to the outdoors. Our kids took it and ran with it and it became a color scavenger hunt. Soon our entire patio table was covered in colorful bits of flowers, rocks, chalk, and leaves.

As you do this activity you can talk about how God made our world. He made the sky and the clouds, the plants and the trees, the rocks and the dirt.

God Made Everything

Genesis 1:31  And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.

This is an idea you can repeat over and over as your child experiences and learns new things about their world.
